Biography

Commissioner Pam Maloney was elected in 2015. Currently serving as Board Secretary, she has held an office on the Board almost every year since being elected, including multiple stints as President, Vice-President, and Secretary. She participates with the General Manager to represent the District on the Seattle Water Supply Operating Board.

Career

Ms. Maloney is a licensed civil engineer who made her career in water resources planning and management. A WSU graduate, she worked for several years consulting on municipal water and wastewater projects before a thirty-year career at the City of Bellevue. She was the Water Resources Planning Manager for Bellevue Utilities, responsible for comprehensive planning, asset management, capital program development, and system analysis for Bellevue’s water, wastewater, and storm drainage systems.

Personal Life

Ms. Maloney and her husband have been residents of the district since 1987. Now retired, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors, particularly on the water, and devotes much of her free time volunteering in educational and public works programs. She is committed to using her industry experience and expertise to delivering high quality utility services to District customers cost effectively for the long term.
