Disaster Preparedness
The wind storm of December, 2006 took out a lot of the power grids in our area. Some people were without power for eight days. Our facilities have auxiliary power generators so water and wastewater kept flowing, but that may not always be the case. In the event of a major earthquake, damage to our distribution system could cause you to be without service. How long could you stay in your house without running water? Please prepare! Water is not only for drinking. You will need it for Personal Hygiene Cooking Cleaning Pets
